Australian Open
I've seen almost all of the matches played during the Australian Open. And, I was reading on CHINA.ORG.CN that the winners of the mixed doubles tournament were Sun Tiantian from China and her partner Nenad Zimonjic from Serbia. This is a major accomplishment for the Chinese tennis team because in the history of tennis the Chinese have only won three gram slam tournaments, including this victory at the Australian Open. This was their second win at the Australian Open and they have won one time before at Wimbledon. As for the match itself, the Chinese and Serbian duo got off to a get start in every set, but let the other duo, Sania Mirza and Mahesh Bhupathi both from Indian, come back to contest them for all the sets played. However, Sun Tiantian and Nenad Zimonjic were able to hold them off and were able to sweep their opponents to a swift victory.
